Why is the ‘Different adjacent digits‘ option not always available?

The ‘Different adjacent digits‘ option in the Settings window is available and works only if you generate random numbers with the specific length (by selecting 'Random number length’).
If you select ‘Random numbers between’ or ’Two ranges’, this option is not available in the Settings window and cannot be applied.
